Allison Iraheta had another strong performance on the FOX reality show American Idol on Tuesday night, April 7. The eight remaining contestants picked songs from the year they were born. Iraheta sang I Can’t Make You Love Me from 1992.

Randy Jackson told the 16 year old that she reminded him of the first Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson. Kara applauded her for taking an adult song and making it believable and young. Paula said that she gave all of her heart to the song. The toughest critic, Simon Cowell, said that it was very good and that Allison needed to find a way to become likable.
