Bret Michaels, lead singer of the 80s band Poison, and most recently winner of Celebrity Apprentice was rushed of stage at a concert over the weekend!

Michaels is a diabetic, as we know, and was feeling under the weather for his concert in Manchester, NH. But he decided to go on anyhow.

Unfortunately, he started suffering from low blood sugar and insulin shock and had to stop the concert. Apparently he tried to return to the stage, but became violently ill.

A source at the site told E! News, “Paramedics present at the show immediately responded and 911 was notified. Unable to keep substance in his system complications with his insulin levels and inability to balance his blood sugar levels arose. Michaels was rushed by ambulance to CMC (Catholic Medical Center), and monitored through the evening as doctors tried to bring his blood sugar back to healthy levels.”

Reports are saying that he is on the mend now, but that’s scary stuff!

Get better Bret!
