My favorite thing about spring is the eruption of colors after a cold, gray winter. I love fresh flowers, budding trees and green grass. My allergies, however, aren’t as excited about it. I turn into a sneezy, snotty mess in the spring. So maybe I don’t spend as much time outside, but still want to see gorgeous spring colors inside! I’ve come up with a few fun, easy, affordable ideas to bring spring inside!

Bring in fresh flowers!

-So maybe it’s not the most original idea, but check out these super fun vases! Changing vases out for ones that bring in elements on spring are a great, easy way to change your decor around for the new season.

1. Pottery Barn Glass Irving Vase – I love the shape of these vases! I also love the clear glass and how it lets the sunshine shine through.

2. Pier 1 Imports Dahlia Vase – These ceramic vases each come with their very own flower. Finished in an ivory and pearlescent glaze, the forever-blooming dahlia sculpted on the front is so pretty, there’s almost no need to add your own flowers. Almost.

3. West Elm Waterscape Hurricanes – How gorgeous are these?! Using a special salt blast technique, these textured matte Waterscape Hurricanes have the look and feel of sea glass that’s been weathered by the waves.

Change wall art!

-I like to change wall art seasonally. Not just because it brings in fresh decor, but the colors I’m drawn to change with the seasons too. I’m more drawn to rich jewel colors in the winter, and light, airy pastels in the spring/summer.

1. Botanical Print Set – This set of eight 5 x 7 prints of watercolor herb paintings will make a gorgeous collection for your wall! What is more springy than having botanicals on your wall?

2. Bed, Bath and Beyond Silverwood Wall Art – The artwork of Kate Birch features floating gardens of colorful and diaphanous flowers. This figurative scene of lovely blue birds perched atop a flowering branch creates a cool and relaxing atmosphere.

3. West Elm Color Study Painting – What a lovely spring color. It reminds me of the clear summer sky!

Change throw pillows!

-You can completely change the look of a room with the way you accessorize your couches!

1. Pier 1 Cabana Geometric – This lovely lemon color is so vivid and springy.

2. Threshold Quilted Ombre Toss Pillow from Target – The ombre trend is still alive and well this spring! This is a great way to bring that trend inside.

3. BHG Mumsfield Floral Decor Pillow from Walmart – I love this pillow. It’s springy, it’s vintage-y looking, it’s affordable. The best!

Bring in spring scents!

-Spring is all about light, clean scents!

1. Scentsy Yuzu DragonA burst of fruit that simply sparkles fresh guava and honeyed nectarine spiked with exotic dragonfruit and yuzu. Yum!

2. BHG Fresh Eucalyptus Mint – This has been on constant rotation in my house this spring. It’s fresh and clean smelling. I just love it!

3. Yankee Candle Pink Sands – You can’t find a much better candle for spring/summer than this one. It’s an exotic island escape in the beautiful mix of bright citrus, sweet florals and spicy vanilla.

What do you do to change your home decor to reflect the season? I would love to hear your ideas!
