Sneaky! Monday afternoon entertainer Chris Brown turned himself in at the Van Nuys jail for a hit-and-run case and managed to remain unnoticed by photographers.

During a fender bender in May, Brown slammed his Range Rover into the back of a Mercedes and refused to show proper insurance documentation and identification to the other driver.

His lawyer Mark Geragos decided the best course of action was to arrive a day earlier than ordered — a move that definitely outsmarted the paparazzi.

The entire process took about 45 minutes, with zero time spent behind bars. Brown was booked and promptly released on his own recognizance.

Ironically, a few hours earlier rapper 50 Cent made a court appearance at the courthouse, which is connected to the jail. That particular event was covered by hordes of photographers. They cleared out after the musician left – oblivious to the secretly planned 2 p.m. arrival of the R&B singer.

The night before Chris turned himself over to authorities, he took his on-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran to the Orange County Fair. A number of images featuring Breezy were posted on Twitter.
