Mother-to-be Fergie and her actor husband Josh Duhamel were the guests of honor at a baby shower that was thrown by their friends on Sunday at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles.
The Blacked Eyed Peas singer took the microphone to announce, “Woo! It’s my baby boy’s first party!” Moments later Adam Lambert’s rendition of ‘Let’s Hear it for the Boy’ played.
Fergie posted a photo on Twitter that she captioned, “It’s gayby shower day! He’s trying to talk!” It was a reference to a talking bubble that she held next to her baby bump. It was inscribed – ‘Say My Name.’
Hosting the celebrity gathering were her agent Sean Patterson, DSquared fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten and hair stylist Andy Lecompte. She referred to the four men as her “gay besties.”
Among the guests were Kelly Osbourne, Adam Lambert, Lance Bass, Molly Sims, Julianne Hough, Gabriel Aubry, Fashion stylist George Kotsiopoulos, Matthew Mosshart, Perez Hilton and his baby son, and drag queen Ru Paul.
Fergie’s big event featured a signature cocktail, ‘The Hot Mama.’ Her guests reportedly went wild for the mixed libation that was a nod to the guest of honor.
