Nationally syndicated radio personality David ‘Kidd’ Kraddick died while hosting a charity function in New Orleans. He was 53.
Kraddick was helping to raise money for his ‘Kidd’s Kids Charity’ at a golf tournament when he suffered a brain aneurism. The radio and television celeb was taken to a New Orleans hospital, where he died Saturday afternoon.
His popular radio show, ‘Kidd Kraddick in the Morning’ was broadcast on KHKS-FM 106.1 based in Irving, Texas and was aired throughout the U.S. in syndication by his company YEA Networks.

Publicist Ladd Biro said, “His show was heard on more than 75 Top 40 and Hot AC radio stations and was a leader among most-listened-to contemporary morning programs. He was also seen on the nationally-syndicated ‘Dish Nation’ television show weeknights.
Kraddick is survived by a daughter, born during his marriage to Carol. Their marital union ended in divorce.
