After a previous failed attempt, Ryan Phillippe has finally sold his Hollywood Hills home.
After his divorce from Reese Witherspoon, Phillippe listed the 5 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom house for $7.45 million in 2010, but pulled it off the market as a steady decline in home prices and a strong recession began taking it’s toll in 2011.
The actor relisted the 7,477 square foot home last summer for $6.995 million, and recently sold it for $6 million.
The home, called “Rising Zen” due to its combination of Asian and modern architecture, was built in 1998. Features include a two-story gym directly off the master suite, a bar surrounded by an aquarium, a media room, art studio and a koi pond. Outdoor spaces consist of an outdoor kitchen, shower, sauna, canopied firepit and an eco-friendly pool with views of downtown Los Angeles.
