CBS President and CEO Leslie Moonves discussed the recent controversial comments made by ‘Two and a Half Men’ teen star Angus T. Jones Monday and it sounds like he plans to let the matter of teen angst slide … for now.

During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the network CEO referred to the incident as “a piece of cake” compared to the Charlie Sheen meltdown.

He said, “I don’t know what our status is with him. We took this boy who started with us when he was 8 years old, and it seems to be what happens to child stars over the course of time. He went on a religious channel and urged people not to watch the show because it was filth. By the way, he’s still collecting $300,000 a week.”

Will he be fired? The head of CBS hinted, “We have other plans. I don’t think it’s quite been resolved.”

Sounds like the writers will be crafting an exit storyline for Jake Harper.
