Trouble in paradise?
The rumor mill strongly suggests that the Hollywood marital union of Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas might be on the brink of collapse.
After 15 years of marriage and their share of personal struggles along the way, she has appeared recently in public without her wedding ring and he has been seen flirting and dancing with other women during his worldwide travels.
Their last red carpet appearance was at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood for the Oscars in February 2012, as seen in our lead photo.
While numerous sources indicate the couple are close to splitting, their friends indicate the couple “seem absolutely fine.”
The 51-year-old Spanish actor and filmmaker has stuck by Melanie, 54, during her much-publicized struggle with substance abuse issues and stints in rehab.
During a September 2011 interview with AARP he admitted, “We have had as many problems as anybody.”
Antonio and Melanie met on the set of ‘Too Much’ in 1995 and wed a year later. They have a daughter Stella, 15.
We’ll keep an eye on this one but for now it appears to be a case of a high-profile couple who lead busy lives that often take them in opposite directions.
