Justin Bieber, 17, is accused of fathering a child with Mariah Yeater, 20. The woman has filed a paternity lawsuit against the pop sensation.
The baby, Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater, was born several months ago. In a signed affidavit sworn under the penalty of perjury, Yeater told the California courts that Bieb propositioned her on October 25, 2010 when she was 19.
The hookup allegedly occurred backstage after his concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. For those wondering, the age of consent in California is 18, which means that the lady could be deemed guilty of statutory rape under state guidelines.
Yeater claims that she tried to contact Justin through his representative when she found out she was pregnant but they failed to return her calls.
A rep for the singer is in full blown denial mode and told Radar Online, “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”
Her legal claim: “On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”
JB’s people say it would be virtually impossible for this kind of thing to happen because the singer is never left alone and always with handlers and bodyguards.
A California court hearing is slated for December. Yeater is receiving public assistance and is petitioning the court to require Beiber to take a paternity test.
