This is good stuff! Back in June actor George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis ended their two year relationship. Now she has revealed that the relationship wasn’t quite what the world thought it was.

In a new book called Questo Amore, written by journalist Bruno Vespa, Elisabetta made some big revelations about Clooney.

She said that George, 50, was, “the person who valued my feminine side the most” and also “one of the best people I have met from a charitable point of view.”

Canalis, 33, continued, “He has been special for me, and very important, just as a father would be. Between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship. I was unable to clarify this up ’til now.”

Canalis really doesn’t have anything shocking that she is willing to reveal, “George and I never spoke of marriage nor of having kids. I don’t put limits to the possibility of having them, but neither George nor I had ever envisioned having kids together. The end of the relationship was not caused by a marriage issue, but instead by our personal needs.”

Like sex? Companionship? We’re just taking a stab in the dark here but from what we are reading, Elisabetta filled the role of trophy girlfriend, perfect for photo opportunities.

Elisabetta acknowledges, “George is a real gentleman even in his private life. I was very much respected both as a woman and a partner.”

Canalis packed her bags and came to L.A., where she enjoyed a short stint on Dancing with the Stars and is now dabbling in the dating scene with a few different men.

Stacy Keibler stepped in almost immediately to pick up where Canalis left off, already appearing with GC in a handful of red carpet photo ops.
