British singer Lily Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper have announced that they are expecting their first child. Allen’s rep confirmed the good news to People magazine:
“Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child. Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend.”
Just over two years ago Allen suffered a miscarriage, so this news is definitely a source of great joy for the performer, who has said that her main goal in life is to have a family.
Allen and her sister Sarah Owen will be at the Vintage at Goodwood Festival on August 13, where they will unveiling their new clothing line Lucy In Disguise. Things are looking up!
