Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his wife Lisa Ann Russell have separated after 14-years of marriage. A rep for the couple said, “They both remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children.

Gosselaar and his wife met when she guest-starred on “Saved by the Bell: The College Years”. They were married in 1996 and have two children: a son Michael Charles, 6, and a daughter Ava Loreen, 4.

No reason was given for the split, though the New York Daily indicates that rumors have been flying that Russell has been partying it up in L.A., and neglecting her family. Their insider said, “This has been going on for quite some time now. He’s taking it very hard.”

The 34-year-old actor played bad boy Zach Morris on “Saved by the Bell” from 1989-1993. He also spent four years on the hit drama “NYPD Blue”, as Detective John Clark Jr. Then it was on to TNT’s “Raising the Bar”.

He recently stepped out of his comfort zone to try his hand on the stage. He appeared beginning in November 2009 in the Off Broadway comedy production of “The Understudy”. He and Julie White were cast in the lead roles.

He will next appear in the new legal drama Franklin & Bash on TNT.
