Tina Fey, the creative genius behind the hit television show “30 Rock”, graces the March 2010 issue of Vogue magazine with her right profile prominent. The gorgeous comedic actress, writer and producer is smiling broadly with no trace of the scar that she has had on her left cheek for the past 34 years, as revealed in the companion photo.
Fey survived a knife slashing at the tender age of 5-years-old, and has never tried to hide the scar in photographs, though you won’t hear her discussing the subject. In fact, Tina hasn’t spoken of it in recent years, after acknowledging in 2001 that it is a “grim story” that bums out her parents when she talks about it. Her husband Jeff Richmond has spoken out, detailing the trauma in a 2009 Vanity Fair interview.
The 39-year-old entertained SNL audiences with her spot-on portrayal of Sarah Palin during the presidential election. Fey has won seven Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four SAG Awards and four Writers Guild Awards.
