Ottawa Senator hockey star Mike Fisher is engaged to country singer Carrie Underwood. The NHL player confirmed the news during a press conference on Monday, December 21. He said, “It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”
A rep for the American Idol winner said, “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier.” See her photo gallery here.
Underwood, 26, tipped her hand on her new CD Play On with the following sentiment: “Thank you #12. You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you very much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day…xoxo, Carrie.”
