Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood was arrested Wednesday night for domestic assault after a a fight with his 20-year-old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
The 62-year-old rocker has since been released on bail.
According to a Surrey Police spokesman, “We can confirm that a 62-year-old man from Esher was arrested last night on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident in Claygate High Street. He has this afternoon been released on bail until a date in January pending further inquiries.”
Wood allegedly began having an affair with the then 18-year-old cocktail waitress in July 2008. He left his wife of 23 years, Jo Wood, and their four children, shortly after.
The couple reached a divorce settlement in August 2009.
