A fire at the Virginia home of Grammy Award winner and sausage connoisseur Jimmy Dean is currently under investigation.

Dean and his wife Donna both made it out of the house unharmed, but three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze, which started Monday night in the basement of the home.

The home reportedly suffered major damage and had to be gutted. The home was rebuilt on the same foundation and the couple moved back to the property in early 2010, just months before the singer’s death on June 13, 2010.
