Actress Ellen Pompeo and her music producer husband Chris Ivery are expecting their first child. According to the couple’s rep Jennifer Allen, “It’s great news. They’re ecstatic.”
The 39 year old star has the title role of Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy. She and her 41 year old spouse met in a grocery store in 2003 and were married by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2007.
