Redmond O’Neal, troubled son of actress Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O’Neal, was in Los Angeles Superior Court last week at a hearing that was presided over by Judge Scott Millington.

The judge has bundled up two other active felony drug cases and is sending them to another court that will sentence O’Neal on the latest charge of bringing heroin to an L.A. jail facility. If the new court chooses to consolidate the three offenses, there is a strong likelihood that the wayward 24 year old son of Fawcett could land in prison. One of those charges, from September 2008, involved Ryan O’Neal – details here.

Millington warned O’Neal that if the court sends him to a fourth attempt at rehab, it will absolutely be his last chance before he feels the full weight of the law descend upon him. The judge said, “Understand that if I see you back in that seat again, it’s not going to be pretty.”

Redmond O’Neal told the judge that he is motivated to stay clean because of his ailing mother, who he said now weighs only 86 pounds. She is suffering from anal cancer and was recently released from a hospital where she had been treated for a blood clot that was caused by her cancer treatment. He said, “I’m just really upset with myself.”

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 30.
