Named “Octomom” by the media, Nadya Suleman is now looking to cash in on her new identity. The mother of 14 filed two different applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on April 10th.

Her plans? Nadya intends to launching a line of baby goods using the trademark as the name. The line will range from disposable diapers and children’s wear, including dresses, pants, shirts and textile diapers.

Also in the works is a documentary type television show to be aired in the U.K. by the publishing company Eyeworks. The show plans to follow the children until they are 18. The process could take up to one year for the trademark to go through and obviously “Octomom” is not strapped for cash because Nadya spent $825 on the filing.

There is one hitch to this story. Super Happy Fun Fun Inc. already filed a trademark on the name back in March. Their plans are to use the name on toys, computer games and action figures.
