Adam Lambert had another strong performance on the FOX reality show American Idol on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. The Top Seven contestants were guided through Song of the Cinema night by film director, producer and cinematographer Quentin Tarantino. Lambert sang Born To Be Wild from the 1969 film Easy Rider.

Paula Abdul gushed, saying he was one of the bravest contestants she’s ever witnessed. Simon Cowell said it was vocally incredible, but tempered the high praise by saying that he didn’t think people would like it as much as his performance from last week.
