Actress and writer Tori Spelling insists that there is no feud going on with her mother Candy Spelling, who has been hitting the media circuit with the release of her memoirs Stories from Candyland.
Tori released her own book on Tuesday called Mommywood and gave People magazine an exclusive interview. She said, “I love my mother. I’ve always loved her (and) no doubt she loves me. We simply never meshed. My mother is who she is. I’ve become who I am. At some point I realized those two just didn’t go together.”
The 90210 actress is married to actor Dean McDermott. The couple have two children, Liam, 2, and Stella, 10 months. Candy has not seen Stella but Tori said that her mother is more than welcome to make the effort to be present in the lives of her children.
Insisting that she has not read her mother’s book, Tori said that Candy is entitled to write whatever she wants. There is reportedly a letter to Tori’s children within the pages of Stories from Candyland.
Candy recently put her mega mansion on the market with an asking price of $150 million. It is the home that she shared with her late husband, famed film and television producing genius Aaron Spelling. Check out the amazing photos here.
Do you believe that Tori hasn’t read Candy’s book yet? We don’t buy that story. A more likely scenario is that she had her copy before the release date. Read the rest of the story here.
