It was the fifth couple elimination Tuesday night on the ABC hit reality show Dancing with the Stars. It came down to a dance off between David Alan Grier & Kym Johnson and Lawrence Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska. After all the numbers were crunched, it was David who ended up receiving the DWTS boot.
Amazingly, Steve O survived another week, even though he and his partner Lacey Schwimmer posted the lowest scores. He has his fan base to thank for keeping him in the competition.
Nine couples took to the dance floor on Monday night, performing either the Paso Doble or the Viennese Waltz, with the same four couples consistently outperforming the rest of the field.
The judges awarded Cheryl Burke & Gilles Marini the top score this week with a near perfect 29. Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson & Mark Ballas were tied with Lil’ Kim & Derek Hough at 26. Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani continue to be strong contenders with a 25.
