Julianne Hough was named ACM Top New Artist at the 44th Annual Country Music Awards. The show was broadcast on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night, April 5, 2009.
Hough was shocked and distressed as she stepped up to the microphone. She ripped her dress in all of the excitement and spent her 90 seconds on stage with one hand over her mouth and the other behind her back.
When the gorgeous 20 year old country singer isn’t working on her new career, she’s appearing on the ABC hit show Dancing with the Stars. In the role of professional dancer, she is paired up this season with her fiance, country singer Chuck Wicks.
