Looking beautiful in her Monique Lhuillier gown and William Noble jewels, Ashlee Simpson married Pete Wentz last Saturday. The couple were joined by 150 close friends and family at the Los Angeles estate of the brides parents Joe and Tina Simpson.
The non-denominational ceremony was officiated by her father Joe Simpson and her sister Jessica Simpson served as the maid of honor. The ring-bearer was Wentz’s English bulldog, Hemingway.
Other special guest to attend the ceremony were Jessica’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, CaCee Cobb and boyfriend Scrubs actor Donald Faison.
Wedding planner Mindy Weiss helped the couple make their dreams reality and helped put the theme Alice in Wonderland into place. The masterpiece wedding cake was made by Sam Godfrey. Black magic roses were provided by Mark’s Garden for the centerpieces. The guest were served Rose Veuve Clicquot champagne with a sit down dinner and of course lots of dancing to a deejay.
