Brazilian model Angela Bismarchi will soon be undergoing her 42nd cosmetic surgery procedure. She wants to give her eyes a Japanese slant in honor of the upcoming Rio Carnival. It seems the event will celebrate 100 years of Japanese immigration to Brazil and she will be leading a 300 member samba team and hopes her new Japanese look will carry them to victory during the competition judging. Two nights of parades will feature 12 samba groups totaling 6,000 dancers.
Bismarchi loves everything about plastic surgery. The 36 year old beauty is married to a plastic surgeon, who has operated on her 10 times. He is her third husband. The last two were also plastic surgeons.
When asked why she can’t seem to stop herself from going under the knife, she commented:
“I always was vain. And for carnival, you have to feel especially pretty.”
Carnival has brought Bismarchi much notoriety in the past. In 2000 she was nearly arrested when she paraded partly nude with a Brazilian flag painted on her body. Two years later she paraded with the face of Brazil’s President Lula da Silva painted across her exposed chest.
The record for most plastic surgery procedures is held by American Cindy Jackson. Hopefully she is aware that Bismarchi is creeping up on her record. Surely there must be something else she can have done.
