If you thought that the celebrity contestants on the hit reality show Dancing with the Stars were performing for the media exposure alone….have we got a scoop for you. Because Olympic athlete Shawn Johnson is underage, the details of her contract are part of the public record and TMZ was able to retrieve a copy from LA County Superior Court.

The lucrative agreement could reap the tidy sum of $365,000 for Shawn if she makes it to the finals. The 17 year-old is guaranteed $125,000 with an additional $10,000 if she survives weeks 3 and 4. The ante goes up for weeks 5,6, and 7 with a payment of $20,000 per week. Weeks 8 and 9 are worth $30,000 each. Weeks 10 and 11 are worth $50,000 each.

The contract calls for the teen to train at least 20 hours a week and she was required to sign an injury waiver that will remove the possibility of a liability claim against Dancing with the Stars.

The young woman had some personal drama earlier this week, when a stalker was arrested while trying to enter a closed set taping of Monday night’s DWTS show. Robert O’ Ryan remains in jail.
