Chase Benz and Britney Spears
Chase Benz, a backup dancer for Britney Spears on her current Circus tour, “just adores” the newly resurrected pop princess, according to his grandmother, Elise Mann.
“He’s a true gentleman and has a big heart,” Mann told Star magazine, which also claims the two are romantically linked.
“Brit really loves the way Chase looks, and she has a thing for Southern boys with loads of charm,” a source reportedly told the mag. “She’s totally into him. And being on tour again, plus having a sexy new guy to get close to, has put Brit in a great frame of mind.”
The hunky 21-year-old is a native of Tennessee – as is Britney’s first love, Justin Timberlake, and he also resembles her ex-husband Kevin Federline in his younger days. Ironically, K-Fed was also one of Brit’s backup dancers.
While we can’t confirm whether or not Britney may or may not have a crush on Chase, or whether the two are an item, his mother isn’t buying the story one bit. “He’s a young man – he doesn’t want that kind of lifestyle. He’s a good kid: the real deal, and very mature for his age,” she told Heat magazine. “He’s been brought up in the Bible belt – he just happens to be a good dancer. We’re a deeply religious family, and family is important for us.”
Not to mention that Chase already has a girlfriend, according to Mama Benz.
According to Chase Benz’ Myspace page, he got his showbiz start in Christian music and says Jesus is a big part of his life.
Just a few weeks ago it was rumored that Britney was dating her longtime talent manager Jason Trawick.
