Penelope star Christina Ricci and her fiance, comedian Owen Benjamin, have called off their engagement. Over the weekend the couple got into a spat which ended in the demise of their relationship.
A source close to the couple told People magazine, “Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to re-evaluate things. (Then) the engagement was off.”
As with most celebrity couples, their rep is spouting the ever popular response: “They remain close and speak everyday and will remain good friends.”
