Life imitated art this weekend for 33-year-old actor Jamie Hector, who plays violent drug lord Marlo Stanfield in HBO’s The Wire.

A baby shower for Hector’s wife ended in a deadly gun battle in East Flatbush in Brooklyn, NY, just after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Gunmen unloaded nearly 50 bullets outside the party before following one of the victims to the hospital, firing another round at him outside the emergency room.

Andrew Filson, 32, was rushed to the hospital where a second vehicle approached and another round of gunshots were fired. He is listed in a critical condition.

Linton Williams, 17, died at the scene, with gun shot wounds to the head and torso.

A third victim, 22-year-old Walter Parker, flagged down an ambulance after being shot in the leg.

“What a gun battle,” a police source told the NY Daily News. “They have been watching too much TV.”

Hector, who has also starred in TV shows “Heroes,” “Jericho” and “The Game,” was at the baby shower, however it was unclear if he was still there when the gunshots started.

Police recovered a .40-caliber Glock and a .45-caliber Smith & Wesson at the scene. No arrests have been made.
