In breaking news, Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Vice President Al Gore, 62, and his wife Mary Elizabeth “Tipper” Gore, 61, revealed on Tuesday that have have decided to separate after forty years of marriage.
They have told friends that their lives have gotten more and more separated with his constant travel, and they simply “grew apart”. They are also adamant that “no affairs are involved”.

In a joint statement they said: “We are announcing today that after a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate. This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have together made following a process of long and careful consideration. We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further.”
Early this month both the Los Angeles Times and FOX News reported that Gore purchased a $9 million home in Montecito, California. That’s quite a midlife crisis Al…most guys go with a sports car or a Harley. Check out the photos and a video below.
The new Italian-style villa has an ocean-view and includes a swimming pool, spa and fountains, high ceilings with exposed beams in the public rooms, a wine cellar, terraces, six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms in more than 6,500 square feet of living spaces. The neighbors include Oprah, Michael Douglas, and PGA golfer Fred Couples.
The couple married in 1970 and have four adult children: Karenna, Kristin, Sarah and Albert III. They range in age from 37 to 28.
