We’ve heard this one before but it seems the rumor may finally be true. According to RadarOnline.com, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child. For the past two years, the media has constantly speculated on whether or not Mimi was preggers.
Last month the happy couple was spotted together at a medical clinic in LA, and the singer dropped out of her role in a Tyler Perry film, and the opportunity to work with Whoopi Goldberg and Janet Jackson.
People close to the couple claim that the rumor is now true. Nick and Mariah are reportedly happy and excited but have been trying to keep the information underwraps for now.
Cindi Berger, a rep for the songstress did not confirm the pregnancy but she didn’t deny it either. She said, “I’m not at liberty to discuss Mariah’s personal life at this time.” Hmmm, could it actually be true?
When asked why the actress dropped out of her upcoming movie role, Berger said, “She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that, I cannot comment further.” Sure sounds like this might be the real deal.
The celebrity power couple celebrated their second anniversary on April 30. Congrats Nick and Mariah!
