Lindsay Lohan appeared before Judge Stephanie Sautner to provide a report on progress made in the areas of community service, a series of classes for shoplifting offenders and psychological counseling.
Lilo told the judge that she let her SAG insurance lapse and couldn’t afford to pay for a one-on-one counselor. Her Honor wasn’t buying it and challenged legal eagle Shawn Chapman Holley, asking if there wasn’t someone with a credit card who would be willing to take care of the problem. The lawyer responded: “It will not be a problem.”
Sautner ordered Lohan to begin those sessions within the next 21 days, complete the remaining three sessions of her shoplifting rehab course and work harder at her community service. The judge pointed out that the starlet had only completed 33 hours, and reminded Lohan that she has one year to complete the 480 hours.
Taking a stern tone, Sautner warned: “I’m not going to give you five minutes extra. I don’t want to hear ‘Oh I couldn’t do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.'”
The next progress hearing is scheduled for October 19, giving Lindsay ample time to get her act together.
