Sometimes it isn’t what you know but who you know. Thirteen-year-old Ava Sambora, daughter of Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, has just snagged a cameo role in an upcoming Judd Apatow movie.
This career break comes on the heels of Ava’s debut modeling gig that took place during L.A. Fashion Week last October, when she strutted the runway for her father’s fashion line White Trash Beautiful.
The young teen will appear in a spin-off of the movie Knocked Up. The new flick will again feature Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann and Maude Apatow. Mann is Judd’s real life wife and Maude is their daughter.
Ava’s role will be as the best friend of Maude’s character Sadie. The film has not yet been named but according to Variety, is slated for a June 1, 2012 release.
The up-and-comer is managed by Adam Albrecht and Leanne Coronel of The Coronel Group.
