Maddox Jolie-Pitt has landed a leading role in the movie Battling Boy thanks to his famous father Brad Pitt.
Paramount Pictures has acquired Paul Pope’s graphic novel, with Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company set to produce the adaptation.
The 10-year-old will play the son of a godlike superhero who comes down from the top of a mountain at his father’s behest in order to rid a giant city of monsters.
Pitt’s Plan B is developing a number of high-profile comicbook-based projects, including Black Hole and World War Z.
Battling Boy is slated to be released to theaters in 2013.
