As many expected, the Bravo network is in the process of re-editing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season two footage. They have not yet determined whether the scheduled September 5 launch of new episodes will need to be pushed out.

Following the suicide of Taylor Armstrong‘s estranged husband Russell Armstrong, his extended family members have threatened a lawsuit if the network fails to remove all references to the deceased from the show.

Taylor’s second season storyline is all about her marital problems, and a camera crew reportedly filmed their counseling sessions. She filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences.

Bravo exec’s pulled the cast together on Wednesday, minus Taylor, to discuss the tragedy and how they plan to edit the already finished season to make it work without references to Russell Armstrong.

Cast members include Lisa VanderPump-Todd, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer.

Armstrong’s widow, accompanied by several people, spent two hours inside Forest Lawn Memorial Park in L.A. Friday. She was shrouded in a black shawl and wore dark glasses. According to witnesses, “she was clearly distraught” when she exited through a side door and was helped back into a black SUV.

Bravo has revealed that they will not be filming the memorial service.
