Country musicians Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are once again beating down divorce rumors that have the tabloids buzzing. Are they really headed for a split? … “absolutely not!”
While performing in Las Vegas over the weekend, Hill told PEOPLE, “Rumors seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It’s perplexing. I don’t know why ‘happy’ can’t be a story.”
Faith stated emphatically, “We’ve been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out. We don’t even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is when we worry about the kids. But they’ve been around it, too, so they laugh it off.”
The Enquirer published a story claiming that Tim mistreats Faith, a comment their rep called “totally false and ridiculous.”
McGraw revealed his secret to a long, happy marriage, “The easy answer is just to shut up and not say anything, that’s easy,” he said. “But really it’s a lot of give and take and it’s a lot of no ultimatums.”
This couple remains committed to each other, their children and their 17-year union. They are parents to Gracie, 16, Maggie, 15, and Audrey, 12.
