Britney Spears’ whole life used to be a frickin’ circus.
The only no pants kind of circus in history, no less.
Now the recovering singer’s new album – entitled Circus – will be released on December 2 – Britney’s 27th birthday – Jive Records announced Monday.
The first single, “Womanizer,” will hit radio September 22.
Hmm. Could that be paying homage to Russell Brand, the sex-crazed British comedian who’s said to be taking a liking to Spears of late?
Probably not. But either way, Britney Spears, who was the big winner at last weekend’s 2008 MTV VMAs, has supposedly been in the studio “all summer.”
We’re very curious to see if her new stuff is any good. We don’t suspect that it is. Not even a little bit. But we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
