Well, it’s been another wild week in the life of Jenelle Evans.
Yes, we know Jenelle’s life is always bonkers, but in the past few days, it’s really felt as though things are coming to a head.
She’s clashing with Teen Mom 2 producers like never before, and those closest to the situation say things can’t go on this way.
From the outside, it looks as though Jenelle is testing her boundaries — and that may end for her the same way it ended for Farrah Abraham.

On Her Way Out?
Things have been so tense between Jenelle and her bosses lately that it’s hard to imagine things can carry on this way much longer. But is that her intention?
The Issue
Jenelle has many complaints, most of them having to do with the show’s tendency to make her look bad (as though it’s possible to make her look any other way).
Problem #1
But these days, her biggest gripe is that David Eason still isn’t allowed to participate in filming … and he probably never will be again.
Good Riddance
Eason, as you may recall, was fired from the show after hurling homophobic slurs at fans in a bizarre social media tirade.
The Art of the Deal
It seems there was a time when Jenelle was under the impression that if she played her cards right, she could get David back on the show.
New Contract, Same Jenelle
After an extended dispute, Jenelle signed a new contract over the summer, and it basically means that producers don’t have to tolerate her BS anymore.

Gone are the days when Evans had the freedom to decide when and what she wants to film.

Within minutes, sources say, Jenelle is begrudgingly on set and ready to film. But that doesn’t mean she’s done trying to destroy the show that made her famous.

“She tried to get out of filming by texting the crew at the last minute, saying she wasn’t going to film that day, just like she used to,†an insider close to the situation tells The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
Money Talks
“Her crew told her that they would have to get legal involved and Jenelle showed up 10 minutes later to film,†the source says.
Rebel, Rebel
“She’s not happy about it, so ranting about how ‘boring’ the season will be is kind of her way of rebelling. Because she can’t rebel like she used to because she knows MTV is not playing anymore,” the informant concludes.

Yes, Jenelle’s latest act of defiance is complaining about how boring the show has become on her Instagram page.
Better Than Nothing?
Jenelle has obviously decided that pissing her bosses off on social media is better than not pissing them off at all.

And despite her claims to the contrary, sources close to the situation say Evans’ outrage has everything to do with David being fired.
Why Though?
What would cause Jenelle to go out of her way to anger her employers in this way? Well, it seems she’s got a very rudimentary understanding of contract law and wrongly believes she can get the upper-hand.

Jenelle seems to be under the impression that if she’s fired from the show — as opposed to quitting — she’ll be able to sue for damages.

Obviously, we don’t know all the ins and outs of Jenelle’s contract, but we’re guessing MTV is prepared for any such stunts.
