Will Grey’s Anatomy ever recover from the death of McDreamy?
Or perhaps a better question to ask would be this: Will Grey’s Anatomy ever recover from how it handled the death of McDreamy?
Following an absurd time jump, Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 23 pretty much glossed over Derek’s passing last night, with the exception of one Meredith-Amelia scene.
And, based on the following teaser, there’s little reason to think Derek will play any role on next Thursday’s finale either:
Titled "You’re My Home," Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 24 will feature our favorite physicians continuing to tackle an unfathomable crisis, according to the official network synopsis.
This will remind Meredith and company of what is important and bring them closer together.
Ratings for Grey’s Anatomy, meanwhile, have dropped sharply since the series killed off Derek. Fans do not seem happy with that decision nor with its aftermath.
Yes, ABC has already renewed Grey’s Anatomy for Season 12.
But might it be time for the show to say its last rites? What else is there for Shonda Rhimes to squeeze out of this drama?
