Demi Lovato stopped taking drugs a long time ago.
But that doesn’t mean the artist isn’t above making some jokes about at least one type of elicit substance.
Lovato made sort of like Miley Cyrus today, sharing a quirky/Photoshopped image on Instagram and calling out her very first boyfriend, Joe Jonas.
“In honor of our former escapades, I thought you’d like this to remember your first blaze.. Happy #420 @joejonas. #disneyhighclassof09,” Lovato captioned a photo of her hugging Cyrus, with the former boy bander’s giant head in the middle, smoking a big joint.
Miley, of course, has made no secret that she loves marijuana.
Lovato, conversely, spent a stint in rehab in 2010 for an eating disorder and also for hardcore drug use.
She has documented in the past how she almost died from taking drugs and how she once smuggled cocaine on an airplane.
Jonas, meanwhile, penned a tell-all essay in New York magazine in 2013 that chronicled his time toking up as a Disney star.
"The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley,” Jonas revealed to the publication. "I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, ‘Try it! Try it!’ so I gave it a shot, and it was all right.
"I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore."
Jonas and Lovato split many years ago, but they remain close. The former has even made a couple surprise duet appearances on the latter’s tour.
