Teresa Giudice is now in her second week at Danbury Federal Correctional Institution, and the alarming updates keep pouring in.

Yesterday, we learned that Teresa is detoxing behind bars after years of abusing prescription anti-anxiety medications. Prior to that, insiders reported that Teresa is being targeted by other inmates due to her fame.

Obviously, these rumors are difficult to confirm, as even the shadiest tabloids have a hard time finding reliable sources behind bars, but the ultimate takeaway is that – as expected – Teresa is miserable behind bars.

It was widely assumed that Giudice would have an extremely difficult time with the transition from her posh life in a Jersey mansion to a cell shared with four other women, so this latest report of the disgraced reality star’s struggles is all too believable:

A source at Danbury tells Radar Online that Teresa shares her living space with “a convicted drug dealer” and three other veteran inmates.

Like all of the other women, Teresa is assigned daily chores in order to keep her dorm area clean, but apparently, once those tasks are completed, she spends as little time with her cellmates as possible.

“She hides out in the chapel a lot, praying,” says the insider. “She’s been staying pretty low-key so far.”

Sounds like Teresa’s abandoned her table-flipping ways in favor of keeping her head down and doing her time quietly. Probably the best decision she’s ever made.
