Britney Spears has been famous for around 15 of her 33 years, so it’s almost hard to believe there was a young, innocent, regular girl before the “Baby One More Time” days.
Thanks to this throwback Christmas photo sister Jamie Lynn posted, we now have a visual of that very person, in all her natural brunette, ruffled holiday glory:
“#flashbackfriday – Just found this old Christmas picture!” the 23-year-old country singer captioned the pic of the three Spears siblings back home in Louisiana.
Britney has her hands on brother Bryan Spears‘ shoulder as she rocks a long-sleeve red dress with a multi-tiered ruffled hem. Little baby Jamie Lynn is with them.

It’s hard to imagine a more angelic family portrait than this, which just goes to show how quickly things change and how fame brings with it so many ups and downs.
All three are in a pretty good place nowadays, though.
Britney has two adorable sons and is dating Charlie Ebersol. Jamie has one cute daughter, Maddie, and is married to Jamie Watson (yes, another Jamie).
“The relationship for me has always been a really special one. I think there’s always something to be said. I’m so proud of my sister,” says Jamie Lynn.
“She went after her dream from a small town and still doing what she loves. She’s so supportive and so encouraging of me. She’s like my biggest fan.”
Both have plenty to be proud of this Christmas season.
