House of Cards star Kevin Spacey couldn’t wheel, deal, con, bribe or finagle his way out of a South Carolina flood, as evidenced by this photo he Tweeted:
The actor found himself up to his ankles in flash flood water on Wentworth Street during a weekend trip to Charleston, S.C., and couldn’t resist sharing.
“I had a great time in Charleston, SC. Beautiful summer weather,” he tweeted.
Sure enough, downtown Charleston flooded Sunday after heavy rains (a regular occurrence), keeping the city’s firefighters and other rescue workers busy.
More than 2 inches of rain fell between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., local time.
