We are just a few episodes into Season 2 of Love in Paradise: The Caribbean.
The 90 Day Fiance spinoff is already treating viewers to a truly historic season, but not everything is new under the sun.
Aryanna and Sherlon are back.
In this heartwarming clip from Friday’s episode, Sherlon gets to meet his son, Odin, for the first time.
In this clip from Season 2, Episode 3, viewers can see Sherlon waiting at the airport.
He is waiting for Aryanna, his American girlfriend.
Sherlon is also waiting to meet the couple’s newborn son, Odin — for the very first time.
“I’ve always wanted a son,” Sherlon expresses to the camera.
“And,” he gushes, “today’s the day he’s gonna be here.”
An emotional Sherlon continues: “He’s gonna be in my hands.”
Sherlon has very high hopes for his first encounter with his baby boy.
“I hope when he hears this voice and sees this face he’s like, you know, ‘I know this dude,'” he tells the camera.
As viewers are well aware, babies sometimes cry when meeting a “new” person, even one they’ve seen through a screen.
As we can see in this clip, Aryanna appears, walking through the gate while pushing a stroller.
Sherlon is visibly overjoyed.
Baby Odin looks up at him in curiosity.
As some frankly cheesy music plays, Sherlon picks up his son for the first time, holding Odin in his arms.
“Seeing Odin for the first time is like love at first sight,” Sherlon gushes to the confessional camera.
“This is the best day of my life,” he emphasizes.
Sherlon add: “It’s all about Odin.”
This of course means a lot to Sherlon, but Odin is just a baby.
He does not understand the significance of the encounter.
To him, a man looked down at him and picked him up in the middle of a crowded place. He begins to cry.
Aryanna of course acknowledges that this is all new, strange, and overwhelming for her son.
“Odin is a little upset because it’s like he’s meeting a stranger,” she explains to the confessional camera.
“But, it’s still a super sweet moment,” she appraises.
Aryanna was overjoyed “to see Sherlon give some love to his son for the first time.”

The full episode is on Discovery Plus, but this is a spectacularly sweet moment.
That said, Aryanna admits that the reunion could have been a little better in one aspect.
“Of course, it would be nice if he gave me some love, too,” she reasons.
Aryanna points out: “since he hasn’t seen me in a year.”
“But,” Aryanna emphasizes, “I’m just so happy that all three of us are together.”
“Sherlon has a lot to prove,” Aryanna admits.
“Both in terms of being a dad to Odin,” she said.
“And,” Aryanna then acknowledged, in terms of “being a partner to me.”
Simply put, she hopes that Sherlon can make the necessary adjustments to become a family man.
After all, the two of them met while she was on vacation. Not all vacation hookups result in lasting relationships.
However, Aryanna hopes that this trip will convince Sherlon to make the move to the United States.
The goal is for the three of them can live as a family.
