A few years ago, we wondered if Suzanne Somers would join the Real Housewives on a permanent basis.
Now, it’s looking like if she did, Bravo would have to have their censors work overtime.
This legend turned 73 this week, and celebrated by posing nude — in her “birthday suit.” Take a look!
Suzanne Somers was born on October 16, 1946. You only turn 73 once.
So when she celebrated her birthday this week, she decided to mark the occassion.
She posed outdoors in Palm Springs, eschewing clothing for the perfect birthday pun.
“Here I am at 73 in my Birthday Suit!!!” she captioned the photo.
She made sure that the image was “safe” enough to share on Instagram. Take a look:

Plenty of parts of the US are only just now getting to enjoy the thrill of cool Autumn weather.
But she’s in Palm Springs, a desert nightmare where the temperature highs this week reach into the 90s. So don’t worry about her catching cold.
If you look closely — and we recommend that you do — you may notice a dark blue that may be some sort of bikini bottom.
Is she completely naked? Maybe not. But this is still a stellar photo. Good for her!
Late this summer, Suzanne opened up to People about her passion for overall wellness.
“I would say one of the greatest gifts I had was getting cancer 20 years ago,” Suzanne stated.
That’s a bold statement that might sting for any cancer survivors or those who have lost loved ones to that terrible disease.
“And you don’t think that the day you hear the words: ‘You have cancer,’” she acknwoledged.
“But,” Suzanne explained. “It was my wake up call.”
Her wake-up call, she explains, was very specifically about how she believed that she got cancer in the first place.
“What am I doing? What am I eating? What’s my lifestyle? What products am I using?” Suzanne recalled asking herself at the time.
This led her to purge her home of everything that she considered to be “toxic.”
Even more astonishing, she chose to forego chemotherapy.
Obviously, that is not an option for many cancers. Please do not try to emulate her in this.
Suzanne then made a whole new career out of a line of wellness products like those that she now uses exclusively.
These items are organic, gluten-free, and have all of the other labels that certain people find appealing.
“I saw this need and I’m filling the need,” Suzanne said.
Speaking of herself and her customers, she expressed: “We want something free and pure.”
While a lot of wellness products are just diet products under a new guise, and although a lot of claims about “organic” food are hogwash, that’s her choice.
And unless you have an eating disorder or a similar compulsion, keeping an eye on what you put in or on your body can’t hurt!
Suzanne is absolutely right about there being a massive market for products like hers.
But with this birthday photo, she reminds us all of how rare this sort of thing may be.
Kim Kardashian or Emily Ratajkowski might show off their incredible bodies pretty regularly, but older women are expected to cover up.
We’re so glad that Suzanne is feeling free and confident enough to snap this photo.
Even though, yes, she did appear to be wearing a little something below her waist.
