Did you hear the big news? Miley Cyrus is single again!
No, we’re not talking about Miley’s divorce from Liam Hemsworth here. That’s old news!
We’re referring to the end of Miley’s relationship with Kaitlynn Carter — a relationship that came and went so quickly that there’s a good chance you never heard about it all.
And this was no mere fling, mind you.
Miley and Katlynn were legitimately dating for a while there.
In fact, at one point, Carter and Cyrus were living together, a fact that troubled some folks within Miley’s inner circle, as this all happened within weeks of her separation from Hemsworth.
So yeah, maybe Miley’s rebound relationship began too soon — but to her credit, she ended the thing just as quickly.
Sometimes it’s best to just get it over with.
Anyway, these days, Miley is refocused on the most important relationship in her life.
We’re talking of course, about her close bond with her dogs:
Miley posted the pic above on Sunday morning, and the caption made it clear that her domestic life has gone to the dogs:
"Happy Sunday from me & 2 stinky dogs," she wrote.
"Waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start a morning."
And it seems the pair of golden retrievers who share the singer’s bed do far more than just keep her warm at night:
"I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions…. the best part about animals is that they are careless about the details," Cyrus continued.
"They live by the golden rule … Love & Be Loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex …."
"They love back 100X," she said.
"All they ask for is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability, and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone)."
Needless to say, Miley prefers pooches to people these days.
As is often the case with this sort of content, fans picked it apart in search of a deeper meaning, with many focusing on the identity of the "someone" Miley mentioned at the end there.
We think it’s pretty obvious she’s referring to herself, and while it’s possible we’re wrong — we’re also 100 percent correct.
And so, Miley has entered the "staying at home with pets a lot" phase of single life.
That’s a fun one, but the way she’s cruising past milestones, she’ll probably be in a new relationship by the end of this week.
