Victoria Secret model Shanina Shaik just dropped a major bombshell and it’s not so fabulous, guys.

It’s no secret that the leading lingerie company has been struggling lately — from transphobic comments made by higher-ups to refusing to hire plus-sized models — even the sparkliest of fantasy bras can’t support this lost cause.

And now, the angels are hanging up their wings because according to the Australian model the Victoria Secret Fashion Show has been canceled.

“Unfortunately the Victoria’s Secret show won’t be happening this year,” said the 28-year-old model.

“It’s something I’m not used to because every year around this time I’m training like an angel.”

This is shocking news, I mean the brand’s annual runway event has been airing since 1995!

And since then, every year viewers have tuned in to watch some of the world’s most famous models strut down the runway in beautiful and striking lingerie accented with the most gorgeous set of wings.

The show has also delivered some of pop cultures finest moments — from unforgettable performances to A-listers Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner taking the runway, to Ariana Grande’s awkward run-in with Elsa Hosk’s fluffy wings.

It’s always a good time on the runway, ok?!

And if I totally just ruined your night, I’m so sorry, but there is some good news!

The future of the company looks bright, as long as they do a little rebranding and get on board with the times.

“I’m sure in the future something will happen, which I’m pretty sure about,” Shaik told The Daily Telegraph.

“I’m sure they’re trying to work on branding and new ways to do the show because it’s the best show in the world.”

On May 19, The New York Times reported that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will no longer air on national television.

According to the CEO of VS’s parent company, Les Wexner, the company was “rethinking” the show in favor of “a new kind of event.”

Wexner also explained that he no longer feels as though the show is the “right fit” for network TV.

Peace & Love

But with or without the broadcast, Victoria Secret remains a lingerie, swim, sleepwear and beauty staple in many women’s wardrobes.

And even though we may not get to see the angels walk the runway this year, the ~fantasy~ lives on.

Victoria Secret has yet to comment on the status of the show.
