If you missed out on the Lil Xan and Annie Smith pregnancy story — allow me to fill you in on all of the awkwardness.

Back in February, Lil Xan announced that he and his now-fiancee Annie Smith were going to be parents.

He shared the news in an Instagram post alongside a very lengthy caption which, if summed up, basically said that he’s never felt happier in his entire life.

However, just a couple weeks later fans began calling BS on the couple after they shared a picture of an ultrasound which many believed to be photoshopped.

And just like that, they were accused of faking their pregnancy

Smith received so much backlash that she planned an interview with E! about the speculation where she explained how "devastating" and "heartbreaking" it is for her to deal with.

She then went on to explain the reasoning behind her lack of a baby bump which she said was due to their early announcement.

Which was a choice she initially opposed because she said she "know[s] a lot about miscarriage and all the risks that can happen."

However — it seems she may have jinxed her luck because earlier this month Annie shared the devastating news that she did indeed have a miscarriage.

Or did she?

She posted a series of photos of herself with the "Betrayed" rapper on Instagram alongside an emotional and lengthy caption which revealed that the miscarriage had caused her "hurt" she "never knew existed".

Lil Xan claims that he is just as confused as the rest of us and even he is now questioning his own fiancee’s motives.

The artist recently broke his silence about the rumors, noting that even he doesn’t know whether or not she was ever expecting their first child.

"I did not fake a pregnancy," the 22-year-old said during his Tuesday, April 23 interview with No Jumper.

"I saw two pregnancy tests with the line that said, ‘You’re pregnant,’ and I was like, ‘OK, so she’s definitely pregnant.’ But I didn’t watch her pee."

Xan then explained that he even researched himself whether pregnancy tests can be faked and found out the process is "pretty easy."

He went on to admit that he is "50/50" on whether or not he believes Smith, 21, and that there were several "questionable" factors that made him think his fiancee was never truly expecting.

He continued: "It pisses me off, though, because if I’m right… people are like, ‘Lil Xan faked his pregnancy.’ When I literally was just like with everyone else here, thinking that I had a baby on the way."

Xan said that he confronted Smith about her miscarriage, which she announced on April 6.

"We’re supposed to be getting some documentation from [hospital] Kaiser Permanente… But I was like, ‘I need the paperwork of the miscarriage that you had,’" he said.

"This is another suspicious thing — I was like, ‘Go down to the hospital… and get the paperwork… saying that you had a miscarriage.’ But she came back saying, ‘Oh, I have to do this process and s–t.’"

Yeah… I think we can all agree we are seeing some major red flags flying here.

Not to mention the fact that Xan never even went to one of Annie’s doctor appointments?

He added: "It really gets you thinking, you know what I mean? I want to give her the benefit of the doubt."

As you can imagine, their relationship is no longer full of butterflies and rainbows as it used to be.

Xan explained that he and his wife-to-be are "in limbo," even though he says he still loves her.

While he admitted that the social media star let him cheat on her with other women during their romance, he hoped having a child would have "calmed [him] down from f–king bitches… and living a crazy lifestyle."

Annie, who is a content creator, wrote a heartfelt message about her relationship via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 24.

"This is true love. You can love us or hate us, but we have each other forever and that is all any person could ever dream of," she wrote.

"A love like this."

Yeah no offense, but I think we can all agree that this is the complete opposite of the kind of love anyone would ever dream of.
