Congratulations are in order for Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin.
The just became parents for the second time.
The actress herself confirmed this exciting piece of news via an adorable photo of the newborn and his parents, along with a caption that reads:
Welcome to the world Jace Joseph Caussin. Our hearts are so full.
Thank you to all of our friends and family..and all of you who have supported Mike and I, and our growing family.
We are so blessed, and a huge thank you to @avawomen for helping us grow our family. #rainbowbaby #blessed.
Jace is considered a rainbow baby because he was conceived after Kramer suffered a miscarriage.
The former One Tree Hill star and country artist shared a photo on Instagram last December of herself holding an ultrasound photo, including with it a lengthy post about the baby she tragically lost.
"For the women out there who have miscarried in the past and need support and a place to grieve their little one lost or to those in the thick of it like me who are currently grieving and in pain, let us all be there for each other.
"You don’t need to feel alone and maybe that’s me talking to myself but if you need a place to share, I’m here for you...and all of us are (and guys too."
Kramer and Caussin are also parents to a two-year old daughter named Jolie.
The pair got married in 2015, but separated in 2016 due to Caussin's infidelity.
He actually entered rehab for sex addiction shortly afterward and confessed his awful mistake two years ago with this statement:
"I acknowledge that certain actions and behaviors have caused issues in my marriage and I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused Jana.
"I have and will continue to take the steps needed to change who I am as a person in order to be a better husband and father."
Kramer accepted these words and the sentiment behind them and the couple renewed their vows last year.
Wrote Kramer on Instagram toware the end of her most difficult year to date:
"2017........you broke my heart, you broke me down, you made me question everything, but damn did you make me strong.
"You taught me patience, you taught me family was everything. You made me believe not only in myself but the power of forgiveness.
"You turned me into the women I always wanted to be."
She concluded at the time:
I have NO clue what 2018 has in store for me but I've never been more ready to live day by day and enjoy each day as it comes at me.
Here's to always believing in love and fighting for it..2018, I'm ready for you!
And now she's going into 2019 as a brand new mother!
